Before the release of 'Hand Middle'- Konshens released several other hit songs such as 'Rasta Imposter', 'Don't Waste Yuh Talent', 'Tek Yuh Likkle Piece' and the hardcore joint 'Mi Have Mi Tings'. But, even with a collection of well received songs he failed to make an impact at Sting due to the fact that he didn't got the chance to rehearse with the band because of an overseas engagement in Europe. He ended the year surrounded in controversy with his Natural Bridge management team accompanied by a lot of bad press. His fans are now looking to see if he will be able to mend his career during the course of this year and regain the momentum that 'Winner gained him'.
